Property taxes stay the same there's some kind of loophole where if you build the structure in less than a certain amount of time it is considered routine maintenance and you don't have to reassess the property value. It's insane how much work is done in such a short period of time. And then there's the 'extra' rooms they do for special family members to give it the tear-jerker charm. The hard part is all the other crap after you build the home. The building of the home isn't the hard part. They pre-build most of the home so it can be rapidly assembled. He still somehow managed to get the boat back to harbor before passing out.
